Phase 2 Projects: Katsina Ministry Commences Inspection Tour.

In continuation of its dual inspection of  projects across LGAs, the Katsina State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on Friday visited Batagarawa, Rimi and Katsina local government areas.

The visiting Inspection Team led by the  Commissioner of the Ministry Professor Badamasi Lawal alongside his Permanent Secretary Alhaji Salisu Musa Batsari and other Directors conducted the Inspection.

The projects inspected include phase 2 projects being executed by local councils and Constituency Projects by Members of the State House of Assembly from out of the local councils funds 

At Batagarawa LGA, the Inspection Team effectively inspected phase 2 projects which include a completed roofing work of a block of two classrooms at Bakiyawa Primary School and construction of a drainage at Tsanni Village.

Two Constituency projects, a 2.3Km rural feeder road from Katoge to Kutubi and Half-Bridge with Drift at Bani-Iza Village were successfully inspected.

The Team however proceeded to Rimi LGA and inspected the completed relocation work of 50 electricity poles from old Rimi/Tsagero road to a new location along Makwalla/Rimi road to saveguard the property from vandals, and an ongoing Constituency Project of 8Km rural feeder road from Rimin-Guza to Kurabau Village which successfully reached 4Km distance as at the time of the visit.

The Inspection Team also inspected a completed drainage constructed at Katsina local government Guest House, renovation work of the local government ESD Department with a construction of pit latrine and a Condtituency Project of 1.6Km feeder road 600m Surface Dressing along Sabuwar Kofa.

In their separate speeches, the Chairmen of the respective LGAs so far visited, expressed confidence on Radda administration by appreciating the vigour of development for local government areas across the state.

At all the projects so far inspected in the three respective LGAs , the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Professor Badamasi Lawal appreciated the zeal of the local councils Chairmen and charged them to ensure instant compliance by effecting corrections as expected before the second round of the inspection visit.

While commending the practice of good governance exhibited by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Professor Badamasi Lawal, the Chairmen pledged to effects the corrections where necessary.
